About Us
Clarke and Kathy Moore are the husband and wife team behind Clarke Moore Financial Associates.
Clarke has been a registered representative and investment advisor for over twenty years and a CPA for more than three decades. His former tax practice provided tax preparation and planning for businesses, individuals, trusts, and estates. The Moores sold the tax practice in order to focus solely on financial planning and investment management. Clarke’s background in tax, estate, investment, and financial planning helps enable him to potentially increase tax savings and investment returns for his clients.
Moore’s practice is built on Clarke and Kathy’s core value - caring. When you care, you dig deeper, whether it involves finding tax savings ideas or investment options that fit a client’s risk tolerance. They spend a good bit of time discussing risk and ensuring their clients feel comfortable with the investment strategies they recommend.
Kathy has worked with individuals for over 35 years from banking to accounting. As a professional, she grew up when customer service was key – particularly when it came to assisting older clients.Often clients are alone, without family left to assist them. In one case, after his wife passed away, a widower without any family told Kathy he had not been completely honest with her. He told her he had a sister, but he had not talked with her in twenty years. Kathy found his sister and connected them. The next weekend his sister flew in to visit, and they were able to reconnect before he passed away a few months later.
In both their CPA and investment management businesses, Moore’s attention to care creates valuable relationships with their clients for generations. The Moores have been privileged to have had some clients for four generations. They feel rewarded to see the children grow and mature, the family's wealth increase, and their values and legacy pass from one generation to the next. They attribute this to synergizing investment, tax, and estate planning for long-term growth potential.
